Leanne
SCERTS and Community Access Lead
I am the co-founder of ‘The Willows’ and SEN teacher. I qualified as a SEN teacher in 2005. I am a specialist teacher in Autism, ADHD and other Neuro-diversities. I have experience working across a range of ages from 4 to 25. My specialties include supporting children and young adults with a range of sensory needs and complex behaviour.
I have dedicated my career to supporting young people in achieving their potential through a person-centred approach. My main priority is always happiness and enjoyment for all!

S&L and Communication Lead
I am also the co-founder of ‘The Willows’ and a qualified SEN Support worker. I have worked within the SEN field for the last 35 years. For 15 years I have worked in a community setting and the remaining 20 years in SEN schools predominantly with young people with ASD and emotional dysregulation.
I am passionate and caring but also a touch crazy! I love creating a fun atmosphere where all learners are engaged and able to reach their full potential.

Support Worker & Sports Lead
I am a kind, friendly and outgoing member of the team. I have worked in SEN for 10 years in both schools and community settings.
I have experience in supporting young adults with complex needs. I offer a calm and empathetic approach!
I am full of energy and love to share this with the young people I work with through fun and engaging physical activities.
I am trained in Sensory circuits and Sensory Integration and understand the importance of physical stimulation on our mental health and wellbeing.

I have over 30 years experience working with children and adults with SEN.
I have a passion for Art. Art comes in many forms and allows us to express ourselves through creativity,
Art has no rules and nobody can fail.

I love to share my enthusiasm for art with others by creating a fun and engaging environment where all learners can enjoying expressing their ideas in a variety of different forms.

Support worker & Well-being advisor
I have been lucky enough to spend the last 30 years working with the most wonderful children and adults with additional needs.
During this time I have trained in various holistic therapies.
I am a certified yoga and breathworks teacher, a Reiki master and meditation and mindfulness practitioner.
I take pride in being able to bring a sense of wellbeing and calm to the young people I work with.
